Our foundation has begun to identify pockets of the "silver generation" in rural areas where the resources needed to guarantee them an acceptable quality of life are sorely missing. We aim to provide children in need, the right to access basic necessities — food, clothing, and education — through programs such as ActionAid and ISKCON's Akshaya Patra. We hope to steadily grow our base of sponsored children to more than 1500 over the next two years.

Digital technology has created a new category of "haves and have-nots." While many in urban environments have access to the latest digital technology — the internet, social media, mobile applications — rural areas lag far behind in both exposure and access. To bridge this gap, we plan to launch "Digital On Wheels," – an initiative in which volunteers take the latest gadgets in vans to rural areas, giving youth first-hand exposure to the interconnected digital world, inspiring them with greater possibilities.
